We bought a new top-of-the-line Dyson handstick vacuum cleaner to replace our probably eight year old one that was starting to die and not doing a great job of, well, vacuuming anymore. The new one has this genuinely useful (and quite horrifying) feature on the hard floor head where it shines a bright green light out at an extremely low angle so you can see exactly where you haven't vacuumed yet, and how much shit you're about to clean up. 🤢
On the upside, my nose is now the clearest it's been for AGES.
