Right, having finished Timothy Zahn's Star Wars novel "Choices of One" which featured Mara Jade, I think it's time to go back to her beginnings for my semi-regular re-read of this EXTREMELY well-loved copy of Heir to the Empire!
My parents bought this for me for Christmas of 1993 so I would have been not quite ten years old. It was the very first proper novel I ever read and I'd absolutely credit it with my love of reading to this day, I read it through and then immediately started it again, and ended up reading it five times over the six weeks of the Christmas holidays that year, haha.
