Tonight we did a bad movie night for @[email protected]'s birthday (it was meant to be last month but sickness got in the way), and we watched MEGALODON RISING.
It's got a 2.1 on IMDB and deserves every bit of it, there weren't remotely enough scenes of things or people being eaten by badly CGI-ed giant sharks and way too much talking. @[email protected] figured out that the naval ship they filmed the movie on was a museum piece at some maritime museum in California, which explained why all the shots of the bridge had exactly one person in the shot at once because they couldn't physically fit more people in the space. 😛 And there were clearly shots that were gotten by just walking alongside the ship in the dock and aiming upwards at the deck, haha. At least the woman who was playing the main character, the captain of the ship, could actually act though!
