  I went to see Heilung tonight and HOLY SHIT IT WAS FUCKING EPIC. Legit chills at multiple points during the performance. There was no opening band, but before Heilung themselves came out they had two First Nations people come out and give a bit of a speech and play a short bit of music, and everyone gave them a really good cheer which was wonderful. I decided to stay at a hotel near the venue rather than needing to keep track of the train times (and then having @yayKM wake up from Beanie barking when I got home at like 12:30-1am or whatever). What a brilliant choice that was, and check out the view I was greeted with when I got into my room! I took a ton of photos of the concert, it was equal parts music and theatric performance, and will process and post them tomorrow.
