  Phew, that was a productive afternoon. Pulled up all the weeds and dead mulch in half of our side garden, plus pruned a bunch of the dead fronds from the palm trees, then put weed mat down and fresh mulch. The other half will have to wait for another day because a) I'm out of steam, b) there's way more weeds than the half I did, and c) the garbage bin is full.
