I was in the office again for another after-work jam session, and this time we did almost zero playing along to real songs and spent most of the time improvising! I started on bass which was a bit dicier because I required that I actually figured out what the hell notes I was playing (though I DID actually correctly remember the typical progression for a 12-bar blues which I was quite pleased with, as well as which notes it should be!), but we got over that hump and got some pretty cool grooves, and then I switched to drums and we got a particularly awesome minor key thing going with me playing the eighth notes on the low tom.
The sunset before I headed over to our music room was decent too!
