New sunglasses day!
I know this ordinarily would be completely unremarkable, but these are replacing the ones I've had for almost fourteen years that I bought on my very first trip to visit @yayKM when she was still living in the US. They were broken from a small child stepping on them when I was over playing music at my friend's house a couple of weeks ago. 😠The original pair were the style "Dash AF" style from Native Eyewear which has since been consumed by the horrible massive conglomerate Luxottica but I managed to find an alternative (thanks to Reddit's r/sunglasses in fact) that looks almost identical and the company is still independent, "Parallel 2" from Smith Optics.
