Look out world, I have a guitar and I'm not afraid to use it! I'm thoroughly enjoying the ability to plug my amp into the load box and play on headphones for nights like tonight where all the rest of the house has all the windows open because it's a lovely temperature. I close the door to the office and close the window in here and I can rock out to my heart's content without annoying everyone on the block.

The first Sydney Fediverse meet was a great success. It was fantastic to finally see @[email protected], @[email protected] (and his non-Fediverse wife), and @[email protected] in person! Also I had a dark chocolate and Guinness cake and it was gooood. We've all decided we need to do this again except also with @[email protected] and @[email protected] in attendence next time.

I made some guitar-related purchases! I needed a new strap because I'm pretty sure the one I was using was the original Fender one from my first guitar kit from like fourteen years ago, and it was starting to tear where the strap hooks onto the guitar, so I got a handsome new black leather one. The other bit was a trigger capo because the next section of my Fender Play learnings needs it.
