After yesterday's efforts we had a relatively chill one today. Went to Araluen Botanic Park where there was allegedly a tulip festival, but October is right at the tail end of things and the tulips were looking pretty ratty for the most part. Then in the afternoon we went over to visit some friends from LiveJournal who we've known for nigh on 20 years and used to live in Sydney (w0d and velvetrhapsody, in case anyone from the early-to-mid 2000s Sydneysiders community is on here). He plays guitar and drums and she used to play saxophone and apparently electronic saxophones are a thing and she'd been toying with the idea of getting one, so we're going to make some music together at some point!
(Also I say "chill one" but I just checked and I've still done over 10k steps.)
