I've done fourteen thousand steps so far today, have hit 300% of my move goal, recorded some drums in Logic Pro earlier this afternoon for a song I've been noodling around with, and am currently making a double batch of lentil rice with bush curry seasoning to have with eggplant kasundi and Greek yoghurt for lunches during the week. So I decided to treat myself with some ice cream with Ice Magic, crushed peanuts, sprinkles, and a shot of Kahlúa on top. 😁

Not sure I've ever had one before, but it's pretty delicious. I used 8-year Ratu spiced rum and Venezuelan "Diplomatico" rum in place of the two in the recipe. (Yes I'm aware it's not remotely the right glass, but this is all we have.)
We went for our belated fancy anniversary dinner tonight at Meat & Wine Co., the one that was meant to be on our actual wedding anniversary last week but was postponed due to sickness. I got the lamb skewer and chips and followed it up with a Dom Pedro with Kahlua, which is basically just an alcoholic thickshake, and it was gooooooood.
Also, there was a McLaren parked in the carpark. 😳
Today is our thirteenth wedding anniversary! We WERE going to go out to Meat & Wine Co. for delicious slow-cooked meats but unfortunately over the weekend Kristina finally picked the cold I had. 😞 So instead we got takeaway Thai and are having our meats next week. Finishing it all up with a ginger beer that has spiced rum in it and it is DELICIOUS.
