We took Beanie in for a follow-up CT scan today, not unexpectedly it looks like the cancer is slowly coming back. We can put him on chemo again or potentially do surgery to remove the part of his liver that has the tumours on it, but the vet is going to speak to one of the surgeons to confirm that that's something that could make sense. We'll find out more on Friday but we'll likely not go with the surgery option anyway I don't think.

A photo of a small scruffy blonde dog lying with the side of his face jammed into the corner of the room. Right next to him is a narrow window that's next to our front door, sunlight is streaming in and the dog looks very content.

Beanie loves it when daylight savings hits because it means we're up early enough that he can snooze in the sunshine by the window at the front door.

Beanie had another vet checkup today to see how the tumour is going. The vet said it _might_ be very marginally harder (softer is better) but it's really subjective, and Beanie wasn't reacting at all to all the poking and prodding. They did a blood test and they were 100% perfect, and his weight has been completely stable as well. We're going to stick with the original plan of getting another CT scan done in December because the vet said she wasn't concerned with how everything was looking right now.
