Winter is definitely Beanie's favourite season, he loves the space heater.

We had our regular fortnightly visit from Ben today, and played Munchkin and an interesting game called "Mysterium". It's incredible how much better Beanie is getting, it wasn't even five minutes of barking before he'd settled down, and the barking he WAS doing was just "Ahhh I'm excited!" rather than "OH GOD I'M FRIGHTENED OF THIS PERSON!". Next time we're going to go down to 1 pill and see how he goes. 🤞🏻

I arranged Beanie's blankets in his bed all nicely, then he had to pull them apart and do this.

We got some new medicine for Beanie to give him before someone comes over, to hopefully stop him freaking out and barking the whole time. Ben came over for dinner and a couple of games of Warhammer Underworlds, and I'm delighted to report that the medicine worked a treat! Beanie did his usual barking to start with, but he was able to calm down afterwards and we had a lovely quiet evening! We're going to schedule some more games and visits from Ben and hopefully get Beanie used to people again, and fingers crossed can taper off the medicine so we can have people over to our house like we used to be able to without needing to give Beanie anything at all. 🤞🏻beanie our house darkroom gaming games workshop warhammer underworlds beastgrave direchasm grashrak's despoilers myari's purifiers morgwaeth's blade coven lady harrow's mournflight morgok's krushas

We're currently at my parents' place on the Northern Beaches because there was an SES flood evacuation warning late last night that said we might need to evacuate before 3am. We figured we'd get ahead and just leave and get a decent-ish sleep rather than waiting and worrying. Unsurprisingly Beanie has taken this turn of events in stride and is currently resting under their dining table. I doubt we're in any danger of the house being flooded, didn't want to be potentially cut off with no power though!

Beanie likes living dangerously.
