We also had THE FANCIEST grilled cheese on toast I've ever seen. (Yes, the bread is under all that cheese, as is a bunch of ham as well, and the bread was clearly fried in a pan). It was goddamned DELICIOUS.

Today we went to Gruyères and saw a 13th century castle, Chateau de Gruyères! It was very impressive, and had been added onto and modified all the way into the early 20th century.
