That was an excellent last mental-health-Friday off. Got all the new garden equipment (sans mower) mounted tidily on the wall in the garage, and also put in a bunch of new hooks in on the other side to similarly neaten up the stuff that was hanging there. I also took the opportunity to take the new blower for a spin to clean the floor of the garage out a bit. It's got a "Turbo" button, and HOO BOY am I glad I had the arm strap attached because it was actively pushing backwards against me!

And done! Irritatingly though, they include one less shelf now than when we bought our other one two years ago.

I spent this afternoon cleaning and tidying and rearranging the back room because I'm going to buy myself an electronic drum kit and learn to play drums! And we have absolutely nowhere else to put it, haha. I was originally looking at the Roland TD-07KV, but I'm leaning towards splurging for the TD-17KV instead...

Phew, that was one of the more productive New Year's Eves I've had... just spent the last two and a half hours cleaning and tidying our back room (the separate little structure that's in the back yard, not attached to the house itself).

Does anyone else have those moments where you start cleaning part of something that's a bit grubby and then just kind of... keep going? Because that was me with the kitchen sink just now. Looks like new!

We finally got around to getting a new painting framed and hung up this weekend! ("The Lighthouse", the one on the left). Looks pretty damn schmick, and I did a bang-up job getting it lined up at the top with the other painting.
