A photo of a Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine, a big heavily-armoured warrior holding a big gun, that's been undercoated in black and has a zenithal highlight of white done from the angles on the top so it looks like the light is shining on him from above. The gradient is smoooooth.

We were over at a friend's place today and he has an airbrush. I had a play around with it, and that's it, I'm getting one. Look at the damned smoothness of this zenithal highlighting!

A photo of the box of a Iwata "Smart Jet Pro" airbrush compressor (a black metal box with the ends open and a handle on top, with some vents in middle of the side), a "universal spray-out pot" (a little pot with a lid to spray the airbrush into to clean it out), and a braided hose for connecting the compressor to the airbrush (which it turns out wasn't needed because the compressor comes with a braided hose).

Turns out my compressor arrived sooner than predicted!
