We went over to @[email protected]'s for board games tonight!
First was a four-player game of Carcassone, which is the first time I've played it physically, which I won 62-48-43-39 (though forgot to take a photo of the board before the scoring was done), and two three-player games of King of Tokyo which we'd not even heard of before but was quite fun.
@[email protected] won both games of King of Tokyo, the first one wasn't even close thanks to a whole bunch of ridiculously good dice rolling, but the second came down to the absolute wire between him and @yayKM and it really could have gone either way.
And tonight we continued with the board games by playing Scrabble for the first time in... I'm not even sure how many years. I won 312 to 253, though was extremely helped by getting both the only Q and the only Z.
Now that the COVID-19 restrictions are being loosened here a bit, last night we went over to see some friends for dinner for the first time in about three months! After dinner we broke out the 2005 edition of Trivial Pursuit they have, and I can report that it hasn't changed from the 80s one with the amount of "Who the hell even is this person" questions, haha.
