A photo of the partially-painted three miniatures that make up the Warhammer Underworlds warband "Gorechosen of Dromm". They're three beefcake dudes, one's got a big ceremonial headdress on and is wielding an axe and a staff, one has very Immortan Joe from Max Mad vibes but also with rocking dad-bod, and the other is part demon with absurdly large arms and big horns over his shoulders. Their armour plating is painted a dark rich red colour, the trim is a brassy/gold colour, and most of the rest is unpainted.

Refresh day progress! It always takes longer than I think it does if I'm sitting down and doing it for like a day straight, rather than just in bursts for a couple of hours after dinner.

A photo of four Warhammer Underworlds warbands that have been undercoated black and then had a white zenithal highlight done over that (using an airbrush to paint white only from the top of the miniatures where light naturally falls). The Exiled Dead has seven zombies, Elathain's Soulraid has three armoured elves along with a crab and a fish, Hedkrakka's Madmob is four savage-looking orks, and the Gorechosen of Dromm are three big muscly dudes with one that looks like it's transforming into a demon.

What a productive day that was! Got all my remaining warbands assembled and primed and zenithal-highlighted. I'm getting the new Underworlds box, Gnarlwood, for Christmas, so my aim is to get all my remaining warbands painted before then.

And then I really should start at least assembling and priming some of my Kill Team squads, since nearly all of them haven't even been taken off the sprues yet.

Last year we had a "creative refresh day" at work, where our whole department got a free day off to go do something creative and we could expense the stuff we got. Naturally I bought a Warhammer Underworlds warband and painted them, and we've been having a monthly just "refresh day" pretty much since then, just a free day off work.

We've got another refresh day on Friday next week, and my team decided we'd do something remote but as a team, I suggested miniature painting and a bunch of people were keen for it so naturally I've bought another warband. 😁
