The last box of five Scions I need for my all-women squad just arrived, and I may have slipped and also ordered a box of Battle Sisters as well. 😜

I bought another couple of boxes of terrain because I realised that they can be constructed to perfectly fit on the "blocked" hexes on the Fireteam board! Next will be to actually finish painting them... cough.

Got all the boxes I need to create the six squads for Fireteam now (https://virtualwolf.org/media/posts/1916). I'd SAY that's the last of the miniature purchases for a while, but we all know that's a filthy lie. 😅

I think my favourite thing about Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team is that you you can dip your toes into ALL the factions without having to spend an arm and a leg making a full army (plus the subsequent time expenditure of painting them). It's pretty much, "Buy a couple of boxes of the basic troops and bam, you've got a squad."

New game! Really keen to take this for a spin, it's like Warhammer Underworlds in that it's got a hex-based board you play on, but it's set in the 40K universe and the bulk of the rules are based on the new Kill Team edition that came out earlier this year. It comes with Space Marines and Necrons but has cards for an additional four factions if you've got the miniatures for them (which conveniently I do)!

Christmas haul! I'm REALLY keen to try the whisky, it's from India and is a blend of Scottish and Indian barleys.

I'm excited to see what interesting things I can do with these little basing grass tufts and the "muddy ground" texture! Got a few ideas already, and definitely no lack of miniatures on which to use them. And I decided to pick up the Grymwatch having seen someone do a WAY cooler paint job with them than the standard one.
