A photo of two pots of miniature paints, a box of three Tau XV25 Stealth Battlesuits, and a box of five Militarum Tempestus Scions.

In amongst the stuff I picked up today was my delivery from Games Workshop that they somehow managed to send to the office back in March despite my home address being the one on the order. Two more Kill Team squads coming right up!

A photo of three assembled but unpainted grey plastic miniatures. They're bulky-looking robot suits with huge guns on one arm. (Yes, they _are_ called Stealth Suits despite being the least stealthy-looking things you could think of!)

FINALLY doing some more miniature stuff! I put together my Tau Stealthsuits this evening.

A photo of my painting table with several miniatures in various states of assembly, and two sprues with even more bits still on them, plus an empty glass that had Galliano Ristretto in it.

Current status: alcohol, fiddly plastic bits, and sharp cutting things. What could go wrong?

A photo of a box of five Warhammer 40,000 Astra Militarum Tempestus Scions (futuristic-looking armoured dudes with guns), and two packs of regular guardsmen with a plasma gun and a melts gun in each.

Huzzah, that's the last bits of my Astra Militarum squad! I also bought some teeensy little magnets and am going to try magnetising the arms so I can swap guns.

A photo of six mostly-painted guardsmen from Warhammer 40,000. Their armour is very light blue/grey, three of them are wearing heavy armour and one has a helmet, another is a sergeant with a beret and brandishing a chainsword, two more are holding very large plasma guns, as is one of the heavily-armoured ones. One of the heavily-armoured ones has a beret and a sweet handlebar moustache.

I was batch-painting ten Astra Militarum guardsmen and it was getting a bit tedious and I wasn't feeling like I was making any progress, so I chopped it down to just the six I need for my squad. Feeling much better now, they're coming along excellently!

A photo of a bulky-looking robot suit, almost anime-style I guess, with a huge gun on one arm. (Yes, they _are_ called Stealthsuits despite being the least stealthy-looking things you could think of!) It's painted in a sandy desert kind of colour with black accents, and the base is also a sandy desert with a tuft of a bright red alien grass on it.

Over two years since I put my Tau Stealthsuits together (https://virtualwolf.org/media/posts/1639), and I've FINALLY decided on a paint scheme and actually painted one of them, haha.
