No photo of the food because I forgot, and no photo of the nice night skyline because the train was at the station when we got there, but we were at Mamak to meet up with a friend we hadn't seen for ages and their as-yet-unmet significant other and it was excellent. So have this photo of the inside of the train instead. 😅

We're on our way to our favourite Greek restaurant for dinner and are literally the only people on this entire train.

Doing some mucking around with Lightroom's new Colour Grading functionality. Related, this is a delightfully empty train.

::track inspecting intensifies:: (We're finally going into the office to pick up all the various packages that have been sitting there since March when the office closed and everyone started working from home full time).

I am on a train, for the first time in six months! Dutifully wearing a mask. ...unfortunately it's to go into the city for a doctors appointment and also a dental checkup.

My favourite thing about the Metro is the photographic possibilities offered by being able to see directly out the front window because the trains are driverless. #photography

I am on a train! (Have I mentioned how much I love the Metro? Because it's pretty great.)

We used the brand-new Sydney Metro to get there and back (well, part of the way since they terminate at Chatswood), the trains are automated and driverless so you can stand at the very front of the train and look directly out the front window to watch yourself zooming through the tunnels! It honestly felt like we were in a city other than Sydney, because until now we've only had the massive double-decker trains. #photography

Man some of the trains are LARGE here. They're double-deckers but even taller than Sydney's ones.
