Man, I've been completely spoilt by how easy to put together the Warhammer Underworlds kits are. I finished my Drukhari Kablites and Wyches and good LORD I'd forgotten how fiddly the regular miniatures can be. The Wyches weren't too bad, but the arms for the Kabalites need to be glued in both at the shoulders and also the hand supporting the gun from underneath also needs to be glued, so you end up doing this three-way dance trying to get it all to line up.

Tonight's endeavour is to finally put at least a small dent in my pile of unassembled Kill Team squads. 😅

We played another (partial) game of Kill Team tonight! And for the first time EVER, everything was fully painted. 😮 We only got a turn and a half in thanks to us taking a while to set everything up, but we're definitely getting the hang of it. I was playing Death Guard, and they have a rule called "Disgustingly Resilient" where if they would lose a wound, you roll a D6 and on a roll of 5+ the wound is not lost. It doesn't matter how many wounds, just ANY wound. One of them was attacked and was going to be dealt 9 wounds (out of a total of 12), but my Disguisingly Resilient roll was amazing and I was able to reduce it down to 4. 😂

I think my favourite thing about Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team is that you you can dip your toes into ALL the factions without having to spend an arm and a leg making a full army (plus the subsequent time expenditure of painting them). It's pretty much, "Buy a couple of boxes of the basic troops and bam, you've got a squad."
