Another night of Ben over for Warhammer Underworlds and dinner and getting Beanie used to having people over, and it was a smashing success. It only took Beanie maybe 15 minutes to calm himself down (we gave him the same amount of calming medicine as last time), and have booked in another night for the same again, so really interested to see how that goes.

A photo of the second game of Warhammer Underworlds, this was Myari's Purifiers vs. Morgok's Krushas vs. Lady Harrow's Mournflight. I won it with the Mournflight though Wobin got in a solid second place with the Krushas.

We got some new medicine for Beanie to give him before someone comes over, to hopefully stop him freaking out and barking the whole time. Ben came over for dinner and a couple of games of Warhammer Underworlds, and I'm delighted to report that the medicine worked a treat! Beanie did his usual barking to start with, but he was able to calm down afterwards and we had a lovely quiet evening! We're going to schedule some more games and visits from Ben and hopefully get Beanie used to people again, and fingers crossed can taper off the medicine so we can have people over to our house like we used to be able to without needing to give Beanie anything at all. 🤞🏻

We went over to a friend's place today and played our first game of four-player Warhammer Underworlds! The two friends who'd never played it before ended up coming first and second, haha. I played the Wurmspat for the first time and lost horribly, the dice gods SHAT on me, both for rolling my own dice and having my successful attacks all defended against. Still had a lot of fun though!

A photo of Karthaen's character card with a bunch of upgrades: Great Fortitude (+1 wounds), Great Strength (+1 damage), Eye of Kurnoth (+1 dice to attack actions), Might of Kurnoth (a temporary +1 damage upgrade), and Kurnoth's Mark (grants the ability to re-roll one dice in the defence roll).

Tonight Kristina and I played Warhammer Underworlds: Beastgrave again, this time with fully painted miniatures (🎉), and GOD DAMN it was a close game! She was smashing me by the middle of the 2nd round, my leader was out of action as were two others and I only had two left. I managed to pull off a win though, by one single glory point. Champion of the match goes to Karthaen who was upgraded to be an absolute BEAST and single-handedly took out three enemy fighters on his own.

He has a staff in one hand with a huge horned skull on the top, and a knife in the other that's dripping blood, and he has lots of skulls attached with string dangling from him.

Bam, that's Gashrak Fellhoof done. Really happy with how he turned out, I've been experimenting with getting the best colours for drybrushing and actually ended up using Cadian Fleshtone for the highlight colour on his fur and his red top and hood. I just need to add glossy varnish to the blood on his knife so it looks wet!

A row of six goatmen miniatures from Games Workshop's Warhammer Underworlds: Beastgrave. They're undercoated light grey, two are larger and more ferocious-looking, and the four smaller ones have their bare skin painted in a darkish flesh colour.

Current status: painting ungors.
