Just finished the test miniature for my colour scheme for the Genestealer Cults squad for Kill Team I have. Pretty happy with how it came out, the usual thing with the GSC is that they're all wearing industrial gear so I wanted to do something different and so made it look like they're wading through a swamp instead. There's also a pool of gross-looking green swampy water at his feet but you can't really see it at this angle due to the grass. I'll have to make a point of not covering that up so much next time, oops.

Continuing my miniature-assembling spree by finishing putting together my Genestealer Cults! I absolutely love these miniatures, they look human at first glance, but then you look more closely and their heads are too large and the ones at the right have three arms. Looking forward to getting them painted up.

I think my favourite thing about Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team is that you you can dip your toes into ALL the factions without having to spend an arm and a leg making a full army (plus the subsequent time expenditure of painting them). It's pretty much, "Buy a couple of boxes of the basic troops and bam, you've got a squad."

We had a three-way Kill Team game tonight, between Death Guard, Genestealer Cult, and Primaris Marines. God damn the Marines are hard to kill, and my Poxwalkers are VERY squishy against them. Probably not worth taking any next time depending on the mission. I managed to kill only a single Marine right at the end. #KillTeam #Warhammer40K
