I'm pretty sure this is the first circuit I've put together since I had one of those 100-in-1 electronic project kits when I was a kid! 😁

Well, I'm not remotely confident enough to do actual painting with my airbrush, but I reckon I've got the hang of this zenithal highlighting thing.

Yaaaay, the "Pokit Pro" multimeter I backed back at the end of 2019 finally arrived! I got the one that comes with the Arduino starter kit and holy crap is there a lot more stuff in it than I was expecting. 😮

Mid-week gaming was X-wing again, but this time we had TOO much stuff going on! Definitely need to tone it back for next time, fewer ships and fewer upgrades. We only got two rounds in, and nobody actually blew anyone up. It was pretty chaotic, but also fun. On the plus side, my newly-starred board looked fantastic. 😁

Tonight's game of Kill Team went very differently from the first one a few weeks ago! I ended up absolutely thrashing the friend I was playing against, 8 victory points to 3, and we didn't end up playing the fourth turn because he was down to one single unit at the end of the third. Though he kindly pointed out after the game that my deployment was very bad and he held back a bit from just totally destroying my troops on the first turn so it wouldn't be a lopsided game. 😅

I came into the office today to pick up the last of the personal belongings I'd left here from March of 2020 and to play some more Kill Team after work, and man, the views from here never get old.

Beanie is on two different types of anti-anxiety medicine, which thankfully he's very happy to have with a piece of cheese, no questions asked. He knows the sound of the pill box and cutter and the rustle of the plastic around the sliced cheese and normally he'll wander down from wherever he is and come and sit in the kitchen while I prepare it. Occasionally though, he decides he's going to be extremely creepy and will stare at me with just one eye from around the corner.
