A photo of four fully-painted miniatures, the elves from the Warhammer Underworlds: Direchasm core set. They have elegant silver armour with gold trim and pale green/blue robes. One has a sword, another has a hammer, a third has a bow, and the leader has a staff in one hand and a white owl with yellow eyes sitting on his other hand.

And that's Myari's Purifers done! Really happy with the colour scheme on these.

A photo of the 4 miniatures of the Dread Pageant from Warhammer Underworlds: Direchasm. 2 are human, male and female, both in puffy purple Middle-Eastern type pants, black corsets split down the front, and with gold masks on. He has an ornate bow, she is holding a glaive over her shoulders. The 3rd looks human but much taller, with a studded PVC-clad leg and holding a spear and shield with 3 sets of eyes. Last is is a beastman with a massive claw for an arm and wielding a sword, he also has a PVC-clad leg.

BAM, the Dread Pageant are done! Really pleased with these, I put a thin layer of glossy varnish onto the studded arm and leg bits so it looks like it's PVC.

A photo of a Warhammer Underworlds: Beastgrave miniature. It's a goatman with black horns with his head tilted slightly back and mouth open like he's bellowing. He has a staff in one hand with a huge horned skull on the top, and a knife in the other that's dripping blood, and he has lots of skulls attached with string dangling from him.

Bam, that's Gashrak Fellhoof done. Really happy with how he turned out, I've been experimenting with getting the best colours for drybrushing and actually ended up using Cadian Fleshtone for the highlight colour on his fur and his red top and hood. I just need to add glossy varnish to the blood on his knife so it looks wet!

A photo of a mostly-painted miniature from Warhammer Underworlds: Beastgrave. It's a humanoid with a wild shock of orange hair, he's got backwards-jointed hoofed legs, and is blowing a very large curved golden horn.

I can't emphasise how much I love Games Workshop's "Contrast" paints. It took me a bit under two hours to go from nothing but undercoat to this point.

A photo of six Astra Militarum guardsmen from Warhammer 40,000. Their armour is very light grey bordering on white like they're ready for winter action. They're brandishing a variety of weapons, one is a sergeant holding a chainsword above his head, another has a sweet handlebar moustache.

A photo of six mostly-painted guardsmen from Warhammer 40,000. Their armour is very light blue/grey, three of them are wearing heavy armour and one has a helmet, another is a sergeant with a beret and brandishing a chainsword, two more are holding very large plasma guns, as is one of the heavily-armoured ones. One of the heavily-armoured ones has a beret and a sweet handlebar moustache.

I was batch-painting ten Astra Militarum guardsmen and it was getting a bit tedious and I wasn't feeling like I was making any progress, so I chopped it down to just the six I need for my squad. Feeling much better now, they're coming along excellently!

A photo of a rank-and-file Skaven from the old 8th Edition Warhammer box. It's small hunched-over but humanoid rat creature with a leather head/shoulder covering, red cloth underneath copper-coloured armor, and brandishing a very tall not-quite-scythe.

The same Skaven as before but taken from the other side, showing that he's also holding a triangular metal shield. He has an angry expression and looks like he's mid-shout about to go into battle.

And Lily's Skaven is all done! Pretty impressed tbh, way better than my efforts at the same age.
