We played another (partial) game of Kill Team tonight! And for the first time EVER, everything was fully painted. 😮 We only got a turn and a half in thanks to us taking a while to set everything up, but we're definitely getting the hang of it.

I was playing Death Guard, and they have a rule called "Disgustingly Resilient" where if they would lose a wound, you roll a D6 and on a roll of 5+ the wound is not lost. It doesn't matter how many wounds, just ANY wound. One of them was attacked and was going to be dealt 9 wounds (out of a total of 12), but my Disguisingly Resilient roll was amazing and I was able to reduce it down to 4. 😂

We had Ben over again today for a Beanie visit and some Warhammer Underworlds. The Beanie visit went very well, we didn't even give Beanie any of his medicine and he'd pretty well calmed down inside of ten minutes! Warhammer Underworlds ended up being extremely close, Ben and I tied for the win on 10 glory, and Kristina got 9!

And then we went to a pub near us for dinner and I had a burger and it was excellent. 👌🏻

We FINALLY got a game of the new Kill Team in! We played without tac-ops or equipment just to streamline things a bit, and only got two out of the four turns done, but it was really good, can't wait to play more.

Went over to a friend's house tonight for a cheeky mid-week game of Warhammer Underworlds. Despite never having played and being down to one fighter at the end, he won 14 to 11! (Partially my fault, I got a bit greedy.)

My Dreadnaught got, uh, slightly swarmed. (We lost due to not paying enough attention to objectives, though we also didn't actually finish all the turns before my teammate had to get back home so technically it could have gone either way.)

The board consists of hexagonal tiles and has industrial-looking artwork on it, and the miniatures are five Space Marines (big power-armoured warriors wielding chainswords and bolt pistols) and thirteen Necrons (Terminator-esque robotic warriors with guns but in poses like they're shambling like zombies). There's also tall industrial/steampunk-looking pieces of terrain on the blocked hexes.

We played another game of Fireteam today, this time with fully-painted miniatures, and I added some (not fully-painted) terrain pieces on the blocked hexes for visual interest! Lots of fun, the mechanics and flow are good, but given the mission we did was the introductory mission, I don't understand how the Necrons can possibly win. I guess I'll need to do some research.

We had Ben over again for Beanie socialising and Warhammer Underworlds this afternoon! The Beanie socialising went extremely well, we gave him one single one of his calming pills this time and we can definitely go entirely without them next time.

The game of Warhammer Underworlds was SO GOOD, and INSANELY close! Ben won again with 13, but Kristina and I tied on 12! It seriously could have gone any way.

We played our first game of Warhammer Underworlds with the new Harrowdeep rules, and using the two warbands I most recently painted! It was SUPER fun and ended up being a draw at 11 each.

I went over to the lounge to pack things up and unsurprisingly Beanie was entirely amongst it.
